Therapy for College and Graduate Students, in person in Asheville, NC and via Telehealth throughout NC, GA, and VA
You've done everything right. Good grades, the internships, the plan. And somewhere along the way you started to wonder if you actually want any of it, or if you're just too far in to stop.
Or maybe you're not doubting the plan, but you can already feel what it's costing you. You lock in, grind through the semester, and then crash. You're tired of it, and you're a little scared of what it'll look like once you're in your career.
That's a good time to talk to someone.
What students bring to therapy:
Hard-working, high-achieving, and fully burned out
Feeling stuck in a major or career path you're not sure about
Perfectionism, procrastination, or both
Calling yourself lazy when you're actually just depleted
Wanting to break the cycle before you start your first real job
Anxiety that gets louder every time there's a deadline
What we'll work on:
We'll look at the pattern itself: why you push the way you do, what happens when you stop, and where you learned that your worth depends on output. Then we'll build something more sustainable than "white-knuckle it until the semester ends."
